<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an affinity ligand selectively interacting with a subset of ≤37 consecutive amino acid residues from the extracellular domains 2 and 3 of HER2, especially the subset containing an amino acid sequence LQVF and/or ESFDGD. <P>SOLUTION: This protein ligand is derived from a backbone selected from the group consisting of Staphylococci protein A and its domain, lipocalin, an ankyrine repeat domain, a cellulose-bonding domain, γ-crystalline, a green fluorescent protein, a human cell toxic T-lymphocyte-associated antigen 4, a protease inhibitor, a PDZ domain, a peptide aptamer, Staphylococci nuclease, tendamistat, a fibronectin type III domain and zinc finger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
