<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily recognize an execution process of an APO function for avoiding wasteful consumption of a battery power supply whose capacity is limited while executing the APO function. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus is provided with a clocking section 32 which clocks a time when no operation by a key entry section 36 is performed, a display section 17 which performs stepwise display output of the absence of a prescribed operation on the basis of clocked contents by sequentially decreasing the luminance of a backlight of the display section 17, and a control section 32 which releases a recording mode and turns off power when the clocked content reaches a preset value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
