<p>The machine has a piston-screw plasticizer-injector. Its axial thrust carrier (12) is operated by the injection mechanism (E). This advances and retracts the piston screw (11) in the plasticizing cylinder (10). A motor (R) turns the carrier. A coupling (13) detachably connects the screw to the carrier. The piston screw (11) has a first section (11a) engaging the coupling and a second section (11b) engaging the rotary carrier (12b). These sections are axially-offset. In novel design the rotary carrier (12b) is located after the first section (12a) in the direction of injection. The rotary carrier acts on the outer diameter of the piston screw unit (11) and is splined. During assembly, the second section (11b) enters a visible region (14) between the plasticizing unit (10) and the carrier (12). The rotary carrier (12b) is also visible here. The carrier (12) receives the coupling (13) in the first section (11a) behind the rotary carrier. The carrier (12) which includes the rotary carrier (12b) and the recess (12a) is single-piece. The first section (11a) is designed with a region of smaller cross section, preferably a smaller diameter. The plasticizer screw with coupling as described is claimed separately.</p> |
