PURPOSE: A Houttuynia cordata Thunb mixture extract having anti-diabetes activity is provided to suppress weight loss, diet efficiency reduction, and enlargement of liver and kidney. CONSTITUTION: A Houttuynia cordata Thunb mixture extract having anti-diabetes activity contains 30-40 weight% of Houttuynia cordata Thunb extract liquid, 15-20 weight% of Saururus chinensis Baill. extract, and 40-50 weight% of Polygonatum odoratum var. pluriflorum Ohwi extract. An oriental medicinal beverage having anti-diabetes contains the Houttuynia cordata Thunb mixture extract as an active ingredient.
