The system has a shuttle (3) with a recess (1) receiving entire or part of a piece carrier (4), and a dampening element provided on inclined faces (6) of the shuttle, where the inclined faces are contacted with the piece carrier. The dampening element separates the piece carrier from the shuttle, and is constituted of a gel (2) made of polyurethane foam or synthetic material such as silicone. The recess has a rectangular transverse section, and the gel is partially placed on both sides of the section. An independent claim is also included for a method for transporting a piece such as micromechanical piece i.e. timepiece. |
