PURPOSE: An apparatus for manufacturing LAN(Local Area Network) cable is provided to detect disconnection of an LAN cable by installing a disconnection detector to a front end of a take-up part of a twist pairing/stranding machine. CONSTITUTION: A drawing machine(2) processes a copper wire. An insulating machine(4) produces an insulating wire by coating an insulating material on the copper wire. A twist pairing/stranding machine(6) pairs and strands two insulating wires of different color. A disconnection detector(8) is arranged between a take-up part and a pay-off part of the twist pairing/stranding machine, and detects disconnection of the insulating wires through a magnetic field. A coating machine(10) coats a coating material on the insulating wires passing the disconnection detector.
