Method of producing foamed articles from powders of aluminium alloys

The invention relates to powder metallurgy and can be used for producing high quality porous articles with homogeneous and uniform pore distribution. A powder mixture is prepared from aluminium alloys and substances, which emit gazes at thermal decomposition, with the ratio of particle size of powders from 8:1 to 50:1; pressing the powder mixture is conducted at room temperature. Then hot deformation of the billet is performed by method of hot extrusion with reduction ratio of 10≤λ≤80. The produced dense billet of material is located between sheets from aluminium alloy and rolling the multilayer billet is carried out with degree of deformation 30-70 %. Technical result: decrease of energy consumption.
