A method for generating supporting stump after evisceration of eyeball due to trauma and delayed uveitis comprises the radial cut of the sclera along the limb, the removal of cornea and the tunics of eyeball, neurectomy, the eversion of the scleral capsule with its internal; surface outside, the placing of the implant into the scleral capsule, and suturing of the Tenon's capsule and the conjunctive. The recess is cut on the anterior surface of the implant. Prior to the eversion of the scleral capsule, the fibers and the disk of the optic nerve are removed, and the sheathes of the nerve are placed into the recess of the implant and fixed with the catgut suture. |
