<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of any feeling of incompatibility by smoothly performing acceleration accompanied by the start of an internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: This driving force control device of a vehicle which starts by generating a driving force of a motor for traveling, and rotating an internal combustion engine when a drive request is made in such a state that the internal combustion engine stops is provided with: a torque excess determination means (steps S3, S5) for determining that request torque to the motor based on the drive request exceeds preliminarily set restricted torque; and a motor torque increase suppression means (step S7) for, when it is determined that the request torque exceeds the restricted torque by the torque excess determination means, increasing the output torque of the motor based on the drive request behind the increase of the request torque, and for increasing the delay width of the increase of the output torque when the output torque approaches the restricted torque rather than an initial time when the output torque starts to be increased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
