PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent specific processing from being performed even in a case communication is established in a non-contact state. SOLUTION: A communication apparatus gets proximate to an external device within a predetermined distance to establish communication without coming into contact with the external device. In a case where the communication with the external device is established and the external device and the communication apparatus come into contact with each other, data are enabled to be transmitted to the external device but in a case where the communication with the external device is established and the external device and the communication apparatus do not come into contact with each other, data are disabled to be transmitted to the external device.
