<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which can store a trimming frame during a printing operation and display only an image of the same aspect ratio as that of a present print setting for a trimmed image. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A printer includes an NVRAM104 for storing printing history information of the previously printed image and including information related to a trimming area and a sheet size. Further, the printer includes a CPU101 for setting the trimming area of the image to be printed out in accordance with the printing history information stored in the NVRAM104. When the CPU101 prints out the image in accordance with the printing history information, if the aspect ratio of the sheet size predetermined by the printing history information is different from the aspect ratio of the sheet size set to the printer, the CPU101 carries out a below-described control. That is, the CPU101 sets an area having the aspect ratio of the sheet size set to the printer and determined in accordance with the printing history information as the trimming area.
