<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter blade for a pellet manufacturing apparatus capable of manufacturing pellets of high quality in grain diameter, shape, etc. even if the apparatus is enlarged. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The cutter blade is composed of a mounting part 2 and a blade part 3 for cutting molten resin extruded in strand shape into a cooling water from an extrusion nozzle 10. The blade part 3 comprises a top face 6 and a rake face 7 inclined to be thinner toward a tip part when viewed in a rotating direction from a predetermined position of the top face 6. The tip part of the rake face 7 is formed as a blade tip 8. The rake face 7 is formed to be wider on the tip part side than the root side on the mounting part 2 side. Reaction (Pa, Pb, Pc) of cooling water is thereby large on the tip part side, and no bending moment is generated to the cutter blade 1, that is, there is no clearance between the blade part 3 and the surface of the extrusion nozzle 10, which causes lack of uniformity in grain diameter, shape, or the like.
