PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device for an inkjet head by which, concerning a simultaneous jetting number of a recording head which varies according to recorded data, an optimum correction amount can be set according to an individual difference among recording heads, an individual difference among recording devices and variation with passage of time, and to provide an inkjet recording device. SOLUTION: In an inspection device for an inkjet head wherein a plurality of recording elements are arranged, the inspection device for the inkjet head is equipped with a drive energy measuring means for measuring minimum drive energy required for jetting, a simultaneous jetting number selecting means for selecting a simultaneous jetting number of recording elements connected to a common power wiring, and a correction amount calculating means for calculating an amount to correct drive energy required for jetting based on a result obtained by measuring the minimum drive energy.
