<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery capable of surely restraining thermal runaway at low cost even if a short circuit is generated in a large-sized battery with a battery capacity larger than several Ah. <P>SOLUTION: Of the secondary battery provided with a cathode, an anode, a separator, a mesh member, and a nonaqueous electrolyte solution, the separator is arranged between the cathode and the anode, and the mesh members are arranged at least either between the separator and the cathode or between the separator and the anode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
