PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an option card with an option function within a predetermined range with respect to a proper pair of an information communication device and the option card. SOLUTION: In this information communication system, the option card 10 of the information communication device is provided with: a first secure memory 16 storing first authentication data; and a first authentication part authenticating second authentication data sent from the information communication device. The information communication device is provided with: a second secure memory storing the second authentication data; and a second authentication part authenticating the first authentication data sent from the option card. The kind of the option function to be provided to the information communication device from the option card is stored in the first secure memory or the second secure memory, and the kind of the option function provided by the option card is restricted.
