<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal digital assistant capable of imaging the next still image while comparing a through image with a still image over the entire image areas without losing a shutter releasing chance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The personal digital assistant includes an imaging means 1, a still image recording means 2 recording the still image of an object image imaged by the imaging means 1, a first display means 3 with a through image display screen 3<SB>1</SB>displaying the through image of the object image imaged by the imaging means 1, and a second display means 4 with a still image display screen 4<SB>1</SB>disposed on the same side with the through image display screen 3<SB>1</SB>with the same size, displaying the still image of the object image recorded in the still image recording means 2. Preferably, the first display means 3 has a touch panel on the through image display screen 3<SB>1</SB>.
