The reference-air amount for a rear-foot space and/or a rear ventilation region is determined depending on preset reference temperature, actual temperature and preset air distribution. One compressor is introduced to the rear area of the vehicle by a controller of the rear-foot space flap and/or the rear ventilation flap.
