PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target object notification device capable of surely and adequately notifying a user of information about an exiting position of a target object. SOLUTION: This target object notification device includes: a GPS receiver for detecting a position of an own vehicle; a database storing positional information about a target object, a map database storing road map information, and a control section. The control section extracts a target object to be displayed on the basis of the positional information detected by the GPS receiver and the positional information about the target object stored in the database and extracts map data around the own vehicle, arranges a map screen based on the map data below a main display screen for displaying icons so as to be superposed therewith and displays icons on the map screen.
