PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup holder capable of stably holding a beverage container, regardless of diameter and height of the beverage container. SOLUTION: This cup holder is provided with a body holder 100 capable of storing the beverage containers 10 and 20, a container holding member 301 rotatable with a shaft 304 substantially perpendicular to a container inserting direction as a center, energized to the inside of the body holder 100 and having a projection over a terminal far from a pivotal point 304, an intermediate lid 201 rotatable downward with a shaft 204 substantially perpendicular to the container inserting direction as a center and energized upward, and an intermediate lid receiving member 401 capable of supporting the intermediate lid 201 to stop lower rotation of the intermediate lid 201 and rotatable or slidable by being energized to the inside of the body holder 100 with a shaft 404 substantially parallel to a rotary shaft of the container holding member 301 as a center. The container holding member 301 is pushed by the beverage containers 10 and 20 and is rotated in the outside direction of the body holder 100 to abut on the intermediate lid receiving member 401, to rotate or slide the intermediate lid receiving member 401 in the outside direction of the body holder 100 and to release locking of the lower rotation of the intermediate lid.
