PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an image quality from being deteriorated due to defective nozzles. SOLUTION: The liquid jetting method includes: a step in which the number of liquid jet pixels being the number of the pixels, to which liquid is jetted, is calculated for every pixel group assigned to the same nozzle based on image data composed of a plurality of pixels; a step in which a defective nozzle causing jetting failure is detected from the plurality of nozzles; and a step in which based on the number of pixels to which the liquid is to be jetted and the position of the defective nozzle, a position on a medium where an image is formed by jetting a liquid from the plurality of nozzles is adjusted.
