摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overcurrent trip adjustment mechanism of fewer parts that can maintain a constant time to break an electrical path, by preventing variation in the position where an adjustment member abuts a load seat when the adjustment member is used to adjust the time to break the electrical path, and preventing movement of a bimetallic strip having one end integral with the load seat and resultant variation in the position where the bimetallic strip abuts an engagement element when the fastening screw is screwed in the load seat. SOLUTION: The overcurrent trip adjustment mechanism, which is disposed in a case of a circuit breaker, including a mounting nut having engaging portions engaging with engagement portions formed near a cable inlet in the case and having a first fitting portion, the load seat mounted with the mounting nut and having a second fitting portion, the bimetallic strip having a fixed end fixed to the load seat at one end and a free end at the other, the engagement element pressed by the bimetallic strip, and the adjustment member for adjusting the distance between the engagement element and the bimetallic strip.
