PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrosurgical stapling device for improving hemostasis using heat producing energy for thermocoagulation or thermocautery or an operating fastener for stapling tissue before, during or after the use of heat producing energy by combining the structural and functional situations of a stapling device and an electrocautery device.

SOLUTION: The electrosurgical stapling device 10 includes the heat producing energy and the operating fastener or staple for reinforcing tissues to perform hemostasis and the bonding or adhesion of tissues. The heat producing energy reinforces a tissue in the vicinity of a staple line and a knife cutting line and stops bleeding along the staple line and cutting line formed by a staple and a knife blade during operating stapling.
