<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fuel supply device capable of reducing the variation in time required to compress fuel to prescribed pressure from startup. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The fuel supply device 2 comprises a stepping motor 19 and a piston sliding means 20 for sliding a piston 9 to the inside of a cylinder 8 through the drive of the stepping motor 19, and sucks fuel inside the cylinder 8 through the slide of the piston 9, compresses the fuel and discharges the fuel through the cylinder 8.
