PURPOSE: A circuit of generating refresh signal is provided to prevent the unnecessary current consumption by stopping the operation of the operation of the command address buffer and chip select signal buffer and clock buffer. CONSTITUTION: The flag signal generator(10) generates the flag signal in response to refresh and precharge signal. The clock enable signal buffer(20) generates the first and the second buffer enable signal in response to the flag signal from the external clock enable signal. The chip select signal buffer(50) generates the internal chip select signal in response to the flag signal from the exterior chip select signal. The flag signal generator generates the flag signal enabled in all bank refresh operation.
