The method involves guiding and straining a tire band to tire band positions around a stack by a tire band supply (19). The tire band is connected with the tire band supply, and a position or height or a structure of the stack on a carrier i.e. pallet, is determined. The relative position of the carrier at the tire band supply is adjusted based on the determined information, so that the tire band supply guides the tire band to the tire band positions around the stack, where the carrier is temporarily moved in a non-slip breakable manner. An independent claim is also included for a device for strapping a stack of fuel molded articles on a carrier.
