<p>PURPOSE: A metal retainer for a clamping body-one way clutch is provided to achieve low manufacturing tolerance and guide tolerance by forming the retainer of a steel band and also to reduce changes in size and shape during operation. CONSTITUTION: A metal retainer for a clamping body-one way clutch comprises a clamping body(6) which is guided by one or more stoppers into a pocket of a retainer between an inner ring and an outer ring, pockets which are consecutively arranged at regular intervals in the circumferential direction, a leaf spring(4) including a punching device which is arranged to correspond to the pockets of the retainer, and a spring tongue. The retainer is made by punching, cutting, and bending a steel band and then welding the edges each other.</p> |
