CHARACTER INPUT APPARATUS AND, METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A character input apparatus and a character input method for displaying a character corresponding to the location of touch are provided to perform various character input on a touch sensor of narrow area through tough and drag method. CONSTITUTION: An interface unit(110) indicates a character in one side of the touch location by touch sense. If the touch location is dragged, a controller(120) controls the interface unit according to the dragging trace for the change of the character display location and flag. If the touch is completed, an input unit(130) inputs character. The character is displayed on the touch termination.
