PURPOSE: A GSL8 protein synthesizing callose is provided to regulate cytokinesis, cell patterning, plasmodesmata, and plastid differentiation. CONSTITUTION: A GSL8(Glucan Synthase-Like 8) protein synthesizes callose which is component of cell plate formed during cytokinesis of plant cell. The GSL8 protein is derived from Arabidopsis. The GSL8 protein is cytokinesis regulation factor, cell patterning regulation factor, plasmodesmata regulation factor, or plasmid differentiation regulation factor.
