PURPOSE: A diffuser segment supporting apparatus for an annealing furnace is provided to reduce the rack phenomenon generated in the diffuser segment. CONSTITUTION: A diffuser segment supporting apparatus for an annealing furnace comprises plural support pipes(9). A supporting member(11) made of the material same as the diffuser segment is welded on the upper part of the supporting member. A sliding member(20) slid in expansion and contraction of the diffuser segment is laminated on the upper part of supporting member. The sliding member is inserted in a fixed boss(7) formed at the bottom of the diffuser segment. The diameter of the sliding member is small than the bore of the fixed boss. The sliding member is made of the different material which does not have component affinity about the diffuser segment. A flowing groove(22) is formed in the upper side of the supporting member. A flowing projection(21) is formed to be projected downwardly in the bottom of the sliding member. |
