PURPOSE: A root-penetration resistant vegetation block for rooftop greening is provided to improve maintenance property of the block with structural stability and efficiency, and to improve water draining function and root-penetration resistant function. CONSTITUTION: A root-penetration resistant vegetation block for rooftop greening includes a space in which vegetation is planted inside a block body. A support(20) is protruded from the rear side of the block body. A water reservoir(21) is equipped on the support. A water drain member(30) is screwed with an outlet of the block body. A flange is formed to block the inflow of the root to the outlet. A water inlet pipe is formed on the bottom of the flange. A cap(40) covers the water drain member, and has a plurality of perforated holes(42) on the bottom part.
