PURPOSE: A web hard service providing method for preventing the waste of unnecessary storage is provided to supply a service conveniently without execution of additional program by reproducing a contents file after approval of a user. CONSTITUTION: An upload request information is inputted(225). A terminal transmits the upload request information through the communications channel to a server(230). The server confirms the upload file of a moving picture file or a music file(235). The upload file is included in upload request information. The server confirms the codec information which is necessary for the regeneration of the upload file. The server stores the received upload request information in the storage media.
