PURPOSE: A system and method for managing parking lot are provided to guide the parking position using only the monitoring camera installed at parking lot. CONSTITUTION: The first camera(130) secures the parking lot image which includes the parking face. The second camera(140) secures the vehicle number image of the vehicles which is parked at the parking face. The parking management server recognizes 'the license plate numbers of the settle hiding one's face or the vehicles which is parked at the parking face. The image is transmitted from the second camera. The parking position is guided.
