PURPOSE: A V-type muffler for an air conditioning duct is provided to improve absorbing performance by discharging reduced sound energy through an air outlet of the duct. CONSTITUTION: A V-type muffler for an air conditioning duct comprises a duct(110) and a splitter(120). The duct has an air inlet(111) and an air outlet(112). The splitters are installed inside the duct. The splitter is composed of a porous plate, a cloth member, and a sound-absorbing material. The porous plate is triangle. A head part of the porous plate is pointed and a bottom part is flat. The sound-absorbing material is filled inside the cloth member. The splitter is installed inside an inlet side reducer and an outlet side reducer. The inlet side reducers are attached to ends of the air inlet and outlet.
