The dryer (1) has a drum (3) rotatably supported in a housing (2), and a heating device (6) for producing a process air flow (7), which flows through the drum and over a condensation unit (8). A collecting container (11) is connected with a collecting tray (10) by a line (12). The tray has an overflow unit including a bottom opening for discharging overflowing condensation fluid. A valve is designed to release the opening during overflow, and prevents reaching of additional air into process air through the opening during proper operation of the dryer. |
