PROVIDED IS A FORMULATION OF AN SEC1 MUTANT PROTEIN, A TOXIN OF STAPHYLOCOCCUS AUREUS, EXHIBITING EXCELLENT EFFECTS ON PREVENTION, SYMPTOM ALLEVIATION AND TREATMENT OF MASTITIS VIA AN IMPROVED IMMUNE FUNCTION OF LACTATING OR NON-LACTATING DAIRY COWS, COMPRISING SOLID MICROPARTICLES CONTAINING THE SEC1 MUTANT PROTEIN AS AN ACTIVE INGREDIENT, A PROTEIN-STABILIZING EXCIPIENT, A CARBOHYDRATE-BASED AUXILIARY EXCIPIENT AND A LIPOPHILIC MATERIAL, DISPERSED IN A BIOCOMPATIBLE OIL AND/OR A FATTY ACID ESTER-BASED COMPOUND. THE FORMULATION OF THE PRESENT INVENTION IS CAPABLE OF ACHIEVING EFFECTIVE IN VIVO DELIVERY OF A WATER-SOLUBLE MUTANT PROTEIN WHICH IS AN ACTIVE INGREDIENT WHILE MAINTAINING ACTIVITY THEREOF. IN ADDITION, THE FORMULATION OF THE PRESENT INVENTION EXHIBITS EXCELLENT THERAPEUTIC EFFECTS ON PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF MASTITIS VIA AN ENHANCED IMMUNOPOTENTIATING EFFECTS DUE TO SUPERIOR ANTIBODY-PRODUCING ABILITY WHEN ADMINISTERED TO DAIRY COWS. FURTHER, THE FORMULATION OF THE PRESENT INVENTION CAN BE USED AS AN INJECTABLE PREPARATION DUE TO EXCELLENT INJECTABILITY.
