The invention relates to independent electromechanical devices and has an electric multiarmature generator in its structure. An electric drive is assigned for including in a structural system of transport means as an independent source for power generation to be used for providing operation of electric motor transmitting torque to actuating units of transport means for its motion. The electric drive can be used as an independent power source in industry, agriculture and common civil needs. Taking into consideration structural feature of the electric drive a substantial reduction of natural energy sources consumption such as oil, gas coal can be estimated.
