The unit has a grinding mill i.e. impact mill, including a set of functional mill components comprising a drive, a shaft, a rotor and a stator, where the mill components are located on a cover (6). The mill includes a pin disc grinding unit or a plate beater grinding unit. The cover includes a cover hinge with hinge bearings that permit hinging of the cover out of a container e.g. filter, and which can be locked by a set of connecting elements. A mill inlet is located on the cover. An air inlet port (35) is connected to the mill inlet by a ducting. An independent claim is also included for a process of comminuting solids with a grinding unit. |
