CULTURE METHOD OF MORINDA SP. ADVENTITIOUS ROOT

PURPOSE: A method for culturing plant adventitious root of Morinda sp. is provided to produce active ingredient using the adventitious root. CONSTITUTION: A method for culturing plant adventitious root of Morinda sp. comprises: a step of sterilizing Morinda sp. plant and inoculating to induce and proliferate callus; and a step of inducing and proliferating adventitious root from the callus. The adventitious root is cultivated by culturing the adventitious root in a bioreactor. The culture condition is 0.1~0.3vvm of air supply and 15 μmol m-2s-1 of photosynthetic photon flux(PPF). The culture is performed at 0.1vvm of air supply to enhance content of secondary metabolic product of adventitious root. The secondary metabolism product is anthraquinone, phenol or flavonoid.
