Provided are a thermoplastic resin composition which, while including from 40 to 95 mass% vegetable material, can be injection molded and has excellent impact resistance, a method for producing same and a molding comprising same. The composition includes vegetable material (kenaf core), thermoplastic resin (PP), (C1) styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer (hydrogenated styrene/butadiene copolymer) and acid-modified thermoplastic resin (acid-modified PP) and/or (C2) acid modified styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer (acid-modified hydrogenated styrene/butadiene copolymer), and the vegetable material content with respect to the total of these components is from 40 to 95 mass%. The method includes a step in which the vegetable material is admixed while melting the thermoplastic resin and (C1) and/or (C2) using a mixing and melting apparatus, and a step in which the mixture obtained is extruded and pellets are obtained. The molding is obtained by injection molding said thermoplastic resin composition. |
