The hinge has a hinge bracket (3) which can be mounted directly or indirectly on the furniture (31) and which has a single or multi-part base plate (1). A depth adjustment screw rotatably mounted in the base plate is joined to a follower plate (15), the latter being connected to the hinge bracket. The screw has actuator parts which cooperate with actuator surfaces on the follower plate. Rotating the screw causes the follower plate and hinge bracket to be displaced relative to the base plate.</p>
