PURPOSE: A PoC(Push-to-talk over Cellular) system for transmitting and receiving media data, a PoC terminal, and a media transmitting/receiving method thereof are provided to perform a media transmitting/receiving operation between a PoC box and a PoC terminal by using a RTSP(Real Time Streaming Protocol). CONSTITUTION: A control unit(200) generates media receiving information including selected reception buffering type information. The control unit requests transmission of requested media data to a PoC box according to a request for reproducing predetermined media data. The control unit receives the requested media data from the PoC box. The control unit stores the received media data to a plurality of reception buffers according to a selected reception buffering manner. The control unit reproduces the stored media data and displays the reproduced media data.
