PURPOSE: A display apparatus, a server, and a method for updating a system control program of the display apparatus are provided to receive a system control program together with contents in which the system control program for update can be reproduced when updating a system control program. CONSTITUTION: A controller(160) requests update of a system control program to a server(200). The controller selects reproducible contents in the system control program for update of a display apparatus(100) offered from the server. The controller receives the requested system control program for update and the selected contents from the server. The controller updates the system control program saved in a storage unit(150). The controller stores the selected contents in the storage unit.
