<p>PURPOSE: A steel refining method is provided to remove the need of vacuum treatment and reduce the amount of quicklime and the amount of calcium used for nozzle clogging prevention during continuous casting. CONSTITUTION: A steel refining method comprises a step of treating Sol-Al by mixing molten steel slag with molten steel in which the content of Sol-Al is more than 0.04%, and a step of mixing molten steel slag with the tapped molten steel. The steel refining method removes Sol-Al by mixing the molten steel slag rather than putting in quicklime.</p> |
