PURPOSE: A flake ice manufacture device using a cutting drum is provided to rotate cutting drum and an icing drum and make the flake ice. CONSTITUTION: A flake ice manufacture device comprises an icing drum(5) and a cutting unit. The cutting unit includes a cutting drum(11), plural cutter pins, lower cutting blade and a power transmission member. The cutting drum is interlocked with the icing drum. A spiral cutting blade with gear teeth is formed in the outer circumference of the cutting drum in a columnar direction. The pin holes are formed on the spiral cutting blade in an axial direction at a regular interval. The power transmission member has a driven gear in one side of a rotary shaft of the cutting drum and a driving gear in one side of the rotary shaft of the icing drum.
