FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry and can be used in synthesis of chemical compounds, particularly methanol. The reactor comprises a cylindrical housing closed at the opposite ends. In the top part of the housing at its axis there is at least one first adiabatic layer with a circular cross-section. In the bottom part of the housing on one axis with the first layer there is a pseudo-isothermal layer. In the circular part of the second layer there are several heat exchangers fixed in the housing, through which fluid heat carrier flows.
