FIELD: mechanics. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ball hinge, namely intended for glasses. Ball hinge (30; 130) for connecting two elements - male and female - to each other, which are spatially oriented relative to each other; at that, male element (80; 180) has actually spherical head (84; 184), female element (40; 140) has two semi-covers with cavity (46; 146) or head (84; 184) has protrusion (52; 162) which, when two above elements are assembled together, bears with its surfaces (54; 56; 58; 162a; 162b; 162c; 162d) against appropriate surfaces (91a; 93b; 93c; 91b; 195a; 195b; 197a; 197b) of head (84; 184) or cavity (46; 146) so that movement of protrusion (52) is restricted and it is kept within walls of groove (85; 186). At that, the above groove determines the path of directed movement (85; 186) for above protrusion (52; 152), thus determining movements which can be performed with the head relative to semi-cover. Besides the above groove is restricted with walls which are located so that they can determine movement path (85; 186) for protrusion with possibility of direction of head (84; 184) with two subsequent turns about two individual axes passing through head centre so that stable position of two above elements relative to each other can be provided. ^ EFFECT: developing a new hinge intended for being used for ear arms of glasses so that they can perform certain movements. ^ 20 cl, 28 dwg |
