<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for performing music with accompaniment from the start of the performance and changing tempo of the accompaniment. <P>SOLUTION: An attack detection part 10 detects count time information showing the time when an attack from a reference time "0" is detected every time an input musical sound signal exceeds a prescribed "threshold" and the attack is detected. An attack time calculation part 20 obtains and outputs inter-count time information showing the time interval between new count time information and previous count time information at every detection of the new count time information. A next timing calculation part 30 obtains a performance start time (ts) expected to start actual musical performance by a player based on a prescribed number of the inter-count time information.
