<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet rotor capable of suppressing breakage of a rotor magnet in the jointing work of the rotor magnet and a sleeve. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The permanent magnet rotor includes: an annular rotor magnet 1 having a circumferential internal surface 1a; and a resin-made sleeve 2, which has a shaft hole H into which a rotor shaft 3, is press-inserted from one end, and which is externally fitted with the annular rotor magnet 1. The sleeve 2 has a regular pentagonal pillar part 2A (2B), which is internally brought into contact with the circumferential internal surface 1a at angle parts C, and is formed, by filling an anaerobic adhesive into voids E formed by the circumferential internal surface 1a and outer surfaces S which connect the adjacent angle parts C, C of the regular pentagonal pillar part 2A (2B).
