PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel wherein a peripheral circuit wiring is difficult to disconnect. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display panel 10, which has an array substrate (a first substrate) 11 and a color filter substrate (a second substrate) 21, disposed opposite to each other sandwiching a liquid crystal layer LC and wherein peripheral circuit wirings GL and SL are formed at a peripheral part of a display region DA of the array substrate 11 and the color filter substrate 21 is disposed opposite to the array substrate so that the peripheral circuit wirings GL and SL of the array substrate 11 are exposed; a resin layer 31, having a previously determined width, is formed at an end part of the color filter substrate 21 on the peripheral circuit wirings GL and SL side of the array substrate 11 on the surface side facing the array substrate 11.
