<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-cleaning cartridge which is provided with a spacer member arranged along the inner circumferential surface of a case in a simple configuration, and is capable of reducing a manufacturing cost. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The water-cleaning cartridge 1 comprises: the case 10; a cap 20 fitted to the case 10; the spacer member 30 arranged along the inner circumferential surface of the case 10; filter material units 40A, 40B arranged on the central part of the case 10; a bag material 50 arranged along the spacer member 30; particulate active carbon 60 packed into the bag material 50; a perforated plate 70 arranged on the upper end side of the case 10; and pressing members 81, 82 interposed between the perforated plate 70 and the filter material unit 40A. The spacer member 30 is prepared by curving a raw material which is formed by braiding a warp 31 and a weft 32 of a thermoplastic resin into a vertical mesh network shape and by heat-melting intersections of the warp and weft.
